I know what you’re thinking…Thanksgiving is a holiday meant to be spent with family and friends! Let me tell you something. The year I was at Walt Disney World for Thanksgiving was by far –
The BEST Thanksgiving EVER!
- No Cooking
- No Cleaning
- Amazing Weather
- Happy Family
- No Whining
- No Crying
- No worries about a DD
- Amazing Entertainment
- Completely AWESOME
That’s right! I said it!
My little family enjoyed turkey legs and spent some awesome quality family time together! We spent the day at Typhoon Lagoon floating around on the lazy river and swimming. We ended the night with some spectacular fireworks at EPCOT. I have so much to be Thankful for – and because I was at Disney – I had the time to reflect on everything I am truly grateful for in my life. I couldn’t have asked for more!
OK. I could have asked my extended family to join us. Disney is a lot of fun when the whole gang is there!
It was a small price to pay for a completely unforgettable Thanksgiving that we will soon never forget!

One of our favourite dining locations is Whispering Canyon Cafe over at the Wilderness Lodge! We are in love with the down home good cookin’ that is served up with some “wait staff sass”! It was only right to enjoy our Thanksgiving Dinner at this location! Nothing beats an unlimited supply of mashed taters, corn on the cob, green beans, fried chicken, pulled pork, braised beef and sausage to fill your belly on this holiday!
There (honestly) wasn’t any room for desert!
Honestly – I couldn’t have been more grateful for this Thanksgiving. It will go down in history as one of the most relaxing, enjoyable, AMAZING Thanksgivings I have missed out on back home!
Until next year….until I come up with something equally as amazing.
